This is a private project in collaboration with a wonderful designer based in Colorado. I had planned on modeling the Arendelle Castle from Frozen at some point, but this project pushed it to the forefront and I’m glad for it.
The first step was to screen capture as many reference shots from the Frozen movie; anything that shows architecture. For this project, we’ll need not just the Arendelle castle, but most of the town and even some of the harbor elements. Below are just a few of the early 3D renders showing castle walls and towers with a piece of the movie concept art in the background (owned by Disney.)
